Welcome to ASC. It is my vision as Executive Director to provide every family the resources that will assist them in getting the appropriate services, and supports they need. I hope to grow ASC to reach as many families as possible through low to no cost advocacy,  parent education and support groups.

Our Mission
Autism Support Community (ASC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides low to no cost training, special education advocacy, and inclusive programs to families requiring Autism Services.  Research has shown that intervention through special education services increases the level of independence and opportunities available to individuals on the Autism spectrum.  ASC believes that every special needs student has the right to inclusive opportunities, a safe environment, and a program that provides meaningful benefit. Special education legal knowledge is necessary to make this happen and should be universally accessible regardless of socioeconomic status.

Our History

Autism Support Community, founded in 2010, by concerned parents and professionals, is a proponent of the rights of people with developmental disabilities. Our vision is to make sure that every student has access to the services and interventions that they need to become independent adults. We started by volunteering to assist friends at IEP meetings. Since then we have grown to provide Council of Parent Attorney and Advocate (COPAA) Special Education Advocates Trained professionals at low to no cost to families. We partner with schools to bring Olweus Certified trainers for bully prevention. ASC expanded to provide inclusive social activities as Regional Center Resources cut services.
